Christmas Shopping in Carbondale

Although Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, there is one hassel that comes along with all this joy... Christmas shopping

Christmas shopping is a joy to some and a head ache to others. We have discovered that those who end the day with head aches are the employees who, after excited shoppers leave, spend the rest of the evening cleaning scattered toys and organizing messy clothing racks.

That is just one downfall to Christmas shopping. Many enjoy all aspects of the Christmas season, especially the little ones who come to visit Santa in the mall and enjoy playing with display toys while their parents shop.

Here is what a couple of Univeristy Mall shoppers have to say:

"Sometimes I just come to the mall and walk around and just bask in the Christmas spirit" - Joe Maddox

"Well, I do most of my shopping while the kids are at school, then sometimes when they get out they beg me to bring them up here to see Santa" -Amy Duncan

When little Jordyn Marshall was asked what she enjoys the most about the mall at Christmas time her response was, "Seeing Santa of course!"

We all know that Chirstmas is the most wonderful time of the year so enjoy your shopping, pick the right gift, and most of all be cheerful IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!

Very nice story! You really captured the holiday season in your article, the good and the bad.
