Tatum takes on the tots
Former Salukis shares skills with children of southern Illinois

Fresh off the first step of an NBA career, Jamaal Tatum returned to Carbondale for a smaller task.
Tatum and other former Salukis united to take on the next generation of southern ballers in the second annual youth basketball camp. The joining of former heroes on the court gave children shooting tips, quicker crossovers and laughter.
Along with the more than 100 youngsters in attendance, former hardwood heroes Matt Shaw, Randal Falker, Stetson Hairston, Jamaal Foster and Kyle Smithpeters joined in on a variety of drills and playful one-on-one matchups.
After the day was over and the balls were put away, the children left with autographed T-shirts, new skills and memories - and they weren't the only ones.
"We have a good time out here," Randal Falker said after tutoring a group of tots. "You just talk to the kids and they find out they're just like you."

wow, this brings back some great memories! it seems like just yesterday i was watching all of these great shows, and more great shows. this homecoming theme has been so much fun!
